Standard Wither Relief - The Barrel Racer Merino Wool Felt Saddle Pad - Cream
The Barrel Racer saddle pad is a great pad for smaller saddles. Made from 100% virgin NZ Merino wool felt it keeps your horse comfortable and your saddle in place. This allows you to concentrate on making your best performance. It has wither relief cut out for extra comfort for the horse and wear leathers provide durability and protection.
Pad Specifications:
- Square Skirt 30" wide x 28" long/30" long
- Thickness: 1/2", 3/4", 7/8" & 1"
We recommend 1" to 2" of pad showing around the outside of your saddle. Measure your saddle before ordering to ensure it will be a proper fit.

For the best fit, your saddle pad should sit slightly past your saddle skirt at the front and back — usually around 1 inch each end.
28" suits compact barrel saddles or shorter-backed horses.
30" suits most average western saddles.
32" suits larger western saddles or horses needing more coverage.
34" suits longer skirt saddles, ranch or roping styles.
