Wendy Winn Performance Clinics are coming to South Australia!

Join internationally recognised horsewoman, coach and saddle-fitting educator Wendy Winn for an immersive five-hour performance clinic exploring the connection between the horse, saddle and rider.

Wendy specialises in equine and rider biomechanics, western saddle fit and functional tack. Her practical teaching style helps riders better understand what their horse’s body, movement and performance may be telling them.

Whether you are a competitive rider, recreational horse owner, trainer or simply want to make better-informed decisions for your horse, this clinic offers valuable hands-on education in a supportive group environment.

What the clinic will cover

During the session, Wendy will guide participants through topics including:

• Horse and rider biomechanics
• Equine anatomy and movement
• Western saddle fit and function
• Saddle balance, pressure and clearance
• How rider position and mobility affect the horse
• Tack and saddle-pad assessment
• Recognising imbalance, discomfort and compensation
• Practical ways to improve comfort, balance and performance

Participants may bring up to two horses and are encouraged to bring the saddles and tack they currently use so these can be included in the assessment and discussion.

Each five-hour clinic is strictly limited to seven participants.

Price: US$275 per person
Includes participation with up to two horses.

Fence Sitter Session

Not ready to bring a horse but still want to learn from Wendy?

Come along to the Fence Sitter session for a live demonstration, educational discussion and question-and-answer session.

Price: US$25 per person

The Fence Sitter session includes one demonstration horse. Attendees do not bring their own horses.

What clinic participants should bring

Please bring:

• Up to two clean, safely handled horses
• Your current saddle or saddles
• Saddle pads, girths or cinches and bridles
• Suitable riding clothing and footwear
• An approved riding helmet where required
• A lunge line and any equipment normally used with your horse
• Water, food and anything you and your horses require for the session
• Details of any saddle-fit, movement or performance concerns you would like to discuss

Participants are responsible for the care, handling and supervision of their own horses throughout the clinic.
