For the length it's a good idea to measure the length of your saddle first to ensure your new Unicorn Pad is the perfect length. Lengths available for Unicorn saddle pads are 27", 28", 30", 32", 34", 36", and 38" length pads, ensuring a perfect fit for a wider array of saddles.

For the best fit, your saddle pad should sit slightly past your saddle skirt at the front and back — usually around 1 inch each end.
28" suits compact barrel saddles or shorter-backed horses.
30" suits most average western saddles.
32" suits larger western saddles or horses needing more coverage.
34" suits longer skirt saddles, ranch or roping styles.
