Funds raised will be provided directly to an affected YARC community member, who will distribute support locally for fencing, shelter, and livestock recovery following the bushfires.

Recent bushfires have devastated parts of our rural community, leaving horse and livestock owners displaced, fenced out, and starting again from nothing.

Several members of the Bling & Speed community have been directly affected. While horses were evacuated to safety, returning them home isn’t as simple as opening a gate - fences are gone, shelters are gone, and paddocks are unsafe.

This fundraiser is focused on practical, immediate help:
• Electric fence tape and posts
• Solar fence energisers
• Temporary yards and shelters
• Basic infrastructure so animals can come home safely

One of our own was forced to evacuate while everything around her burned. She saved every horse, but had to leave behind the cremated remains of her horse, Cruz, while asking someone to protect her home.

No one should have to make choices like that, and no one should have to rebuild alone.
