This bit is quickly becoming one of our favorite bits due to its great versatility. No matter what style of riding or type of horse, this bit just seems to fit perfectly. The ½” Copper Modified Billy Allen is a great all around mouthpiece and the perfect choice for a horse with a low palate. This bit has more mullen relief than the standard Billy Allen giving it an ergonomic fit resulting in soft and even pressure across the tongue, bars and lips. The barrel has limited movement preventing the bit from scissoring down into the tongue or up into the palate, but has plenty of rotation. Copper increases salivation for a more supple mouth. This bit is very versatile, making this a great choice for any style of riding.
Stage C bits are built for riders and horses who love neck reining. Horses who respond well to poll pressure are in Stage C. Features include solid mouthpieces and cheek attachments, and swivel cheeks with jointed mouthpieces or low to medium ports.

This has made the biggest difference to my saddle. I don’t have a typical horn! My horn is covered in a hard, slick almost resin material. This made it hard and uncomfortable to hang on to with no grip. Since applying the mint horn wrap, it has stuck! And made a world of difference. I would highly recommend!!!
