The bit is wrapped with copper to help emphasize cues, with copper rings around the dogbone as well. Copper and sweet iron mix for a great taste to your horse, encouraging salivation for comfort and suppleness.
Stage B is all about transition, with the introduction of leverage and curb pressure. Short shanked bits and half-gags comprise Stage B.
Copper is a soft metal, watch for excessive wear. Sweet iron will naturally rust into a patina over time.

This has made the biggest difference to my saddle. I don’t have a typical horn! My horn is covered in a hard, slick almost resin material. This made it hard and uncomfortable to hang on to with no grip. Since applying the mint horn wrap, it has stuck! And made a world of difference. I would highly recommend!!!
